چکیده

abstract introduction: in some individuals because of the poor functioning leg muscles, plantar arch drooping suffered and it seems that ground reaction force individuals with flat foot than to those with normal foot, due to reduced recruitment is altered by the arc. the aim of  the present study the effect of corrective exercise program on the ground reaction force of student with flat food during gait cycle. materials and methods: in this study, 30 subjects with flat foot deformity the randomly and homogeneously divided in both intervention and control groups. flat feet was measured by navicular droop test.the intervention group participated corrective exercises in 24 sessions of two months. force plate apparatus for measuring ground reaction force were used before and after corrective exercises. for statistical analysis was used of parametric independent t-test and paired sample t-test (p ≤0/05). results: the results showed that the vertical component of ground reaction in time weight transfer on the heel (p=0/01) and  toe weight transfer (p=0/03) stance phase in the intervention group after 8 weeks corrective exercises decreased significantly. but no significant difference in midstance phase between the two groups (p>0/05). conclusion: found on the basis of this study it can be concluded, corrective exercise can, performance increases of the plantar arch to absorb the force and reduces ground reaction force in subject  with flat foot  in two step, transfer weight on the heel and toe weight transfer on toe.

The effect of corrective exercise on walking ground reaction force components in children with genu varus

Genu varus is one of the malalignment of the lower limbs, the failure to correct it leads to secondary abnormalities in adulthood. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a corrective exercise program on ground reaction forces, loading rates, impulses and free moment during stance phase of walking. 17 children with genu varus were volunteered to participate in this study (Ag...

Vertical Ground Reaction Force Gait Patterns During Walking in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders

The characteristics of vertical ground reaction force (VGRF) gait patterns in children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are poorly understood. The purpose of this study was to identify VGRF gait features that discriminate between children with ASD and the peer control group. The VGRF data were obtained from 30 children with ASD and 30 normal healthy children aged 4 to 12 years. A three-dime...

Effect of unstable shoes on ground reaction force parameters during stance phase of running

Introduction: 24-67% of recreational runners suffer from running-related injuries. The purpose of this study was to test the effect of unstable shoes on selected ground reaction force (GRF) parameters during stance phase of running. Method: 20 healthy men (age of 21±2.27 years, height of 176.93±5.39 cm, and mass of 72.30±8.84 kg) ran on the force plate placed in the middle of 15 m runway in ba...
